Sarah is an award-winning author of slow-burn, high-stakes fantasy romance.<br><br>Born and raised in Australia, Sarah spent the hot summer days inside reading, saving money on SPF, and being an overachiever at school (if it required research and references, she was here for it). An addiction to angsty, female-led stories, young adult novels, video games like <em>Tomb Raider</em>, and shows like <em>The Vampire Diaries</em> nurtured the style of books she writes today. Sarah's stories celebrate the agency and empowerment of women—and are also heavy on the romance.<br><br>Her debut, a new adult fantasy romance called <em>Control My Night</em>, follows a young woman with a killer ability who is abducted by a mafia boss to be used as a supernatural weapon in a criminal underworld. It mixes the vibes of <em>X-Men First Class</em> and <em>The Godfather</em> with the nostalgic YA feel of <em>The Mortal Instruments</em> and includes a modern-day reimagined Prague in all its glory, multiple (delicious) villains, bonkers side-characters, and a steamy slow-burn forbidden romance.<br><br>Sarah graduated from the <em>University of Queensland</em>, majoring in Communications and—when she's not travelling—resides in Brisbane, Australia with her partner, a stack of TBR books she promises she'll read someday, and a growing array of indoor house plants.
