<p>In 1970 Jef Olix, a native of Haiti-Bohio, joined his mother in New York, where he attended High School and College. Since the age of 12, Jef began to show interest in the arts, doing theatre at his local church, writing poetry, singing and writing music. Later, his attention shifted towards the romance languages. Besides English, Jef speaks French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Haitian Creole. To this day, he continues to pursue his childhood dreams.</p>
