Ruth Parker is an incurable romantic, and when not gazing wistfully at sunsets in Florence, enjoys travel on a budget to far flung exotic locations. A professional painter and arts educator, her more sensible jobs include work as a commercial copywriter. Ever fascinated by the human condition, her guilty pleasures include dancing the Tango, 1980’s Heavy Metal music, long haired bad guys and her happy memories from a lifetime of shameless behaviour. All of the aforementioned are frequently useful in the creative process of writing. When they are not, the thought keeps her amused on cold and rainy evenings in England where she currently lives. She steadfastly refuses either to grow up or to settle down.
