Burnett's short fiction and poetry appears in over 40 national literary journals including Tidal Basin Review, Short Story America, Sixfold, Fringe, Connotation Press and Red Dirt Review. He lives in central Texas where he serves on the Board of Directors for the Writers' League of Texas. He writes feature articles on environmental politics, green building and organic agriculture. His hobbies include having philosophical conversations with vegetables, wandering aimlessly about and frolicing with his trophy bride, Robin.</p>
