<p>January James lives in a tiny cottage in the south east of England with her husband and toddling daughter. Her  debut romance novel, A Class Act, was inspired by her own former life working in a start-up business which unfortunately she didn't enjoy quite as much as her protagonist does. She now spends her days dreaming up new characters and stories and trying to avoid indoor soft play.</p>
