<p>Sharon Davey is well-known in the career education field in Australia. having worked for the Victorian Education Department, two universities, a couple of TAFEs (community colleges), and several schools, in policy development, and as a lecturer and careers counsellor. She has also provided careers counselling and job search assistance to many people of all ages, managed an employment service, and is an ex-President of the Careers Education Association of Victoria, Australia. A former teacher, she has a post-graduate diploma in career education.<br/><br/>Sharon is recognised for her practical and down-to-earth approach, delivered with more than a dash of dry (and sometimes irreverent) humour.<br/><br/>Her first book, Awesome Careers for Gen Ys, was well received and has spurred her on to write more, and to expand her coaching business.<br/><br/>Sharon spends her time between Victoria and Queensland, two wonderful states on the east coast of Australia.</p>
