Jane Risdon has spent most of her life working in the international music business managing the careers of record producers, singers, songwriters, musicians, and facilitating the placement of music onto soundtracks for TV and Movies. She is married to a musician and a lot of her inspiration comes from their shared career in the music business.
Prior to this she worked in a varietey of Civil Service departments including the Ministry of Defence and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where she is sure her love of crime and espinoage thrillers comes from.
She writes crime thrillers with a hint of espionage, often set in the music or movie business, as well as Women's Fiction, and she dabbles in other genres when the fancy takes her, including mild ghostly tales and observational humour. She also has her own blog and website.
Jane is a regular contributor to anthologies, and also online and print magazines, and she is a regular internet radio guest on several global radio networks.
