<p>Writing since childhood, Gene Denham first earned recognition through school literary contests for both poetry and short fiction, including his poem "God and Mother Nature".</p><p>His poetry has been featured on Houston Public Radio, where "Lust" was read on air, and published internationally in the Canadian religious publication <em>Chastity & Holiness</em>, which featured "Answers" and "Testament".</p><p>In recent years, he has focused primarily on prose, with the short stories "Veronica" and "Holy Fire" earning contest recognition.</p><p>He continues to write fiction blending horror, mystery, and the supernatural.</p><p>Gene lives in Houston, Texas, and enjoys genealogy research and spending time with family when not writing.</p>
