Cliff Allman

Cliff Allman, a longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, California, has been writing since a young age—his imagination never confined to a single genre or type of story. His work reflects a wide creative range, bringing together compelling characters, unexpected turns, and a natural instinct for storytelling.<br>&nbsp;<br>He built a fast-paced career in advertising at <em>Sports Illustrated</em>, during the glory days of big ideas and bigger stories—an experience that continues to shape the rhythm and energy of his writing. Along the way, raising a family, coaching from the sidelines, and pursuing passions like golf, fishing, and pickleball have all found their way into the fabric of his stories.<br>&nbsp;<br>Cliff’s first two books were children’s titles, illustrated by his daughters, Claire and Sarah. During the early stages of the pandemic, he wrote and published his first full-length novel, the time-travel thriller <em>The Parallel Lives of John Allen</em>, drawing inspiration from places that have stayed with him—Montana, Martha’s Vineyard, and Chicago, where he was born and raised.<br>&nbsp;<br>A graduate of Western Illinois University, Cliff eventually made his way to Los Angeles, where he spent much of his career in advertising sales.
