James B. Hall

Dr. James Hall is a minister by calling and a nephrologist by trade—two roles that reflect his lifelong commitment to healing both body and soul. As founder of Anointed Nephrology &amp; Hypertension in Brookhaven, Mississippi, Dr. Hall combines medical science with spiritual insight to serve his patients and community with purpose and compassion.<br>​​​​​​​<br>A board-certified nephrologist and licensed minister, Dr. Hall has spent decades guiding others toward wholeness. His mission is to connect people to their God-given identity and restore integrity, leadership, and responsibility in a generation that desperately needs it. Through his nonprofit, the Mighty Men Academy, he mentors fatherless boys and trains men to lead with strength and humility, helping restore the family as the foundation of community.<br>​​​​​​​<br>Born in Magnolia, Mississippi, Dr. Hall graduated valedictorian from South Pike High School before earning his BS in biochemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi and his MD from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed his residency and fellowship in internal medicine and nephrology and has published in Clinical Nephrology. His accolades include the South Pike Hall of Fame Award, and he is a member of the American Medical Association and the Renal Physicians Association.<br>​​​​​​​<br>Outside the clinic and ministry, Dr. Hall enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, and flipping commercial properties. He and his wife, Joy—his high school sweetheart and office manager—live in Brookhaven, where they raised two sons, Matthew and Jordan.
