F. Malbeck is an Australian indie author and proud queer person of
aboriginal descent. Hailing originally from rural New South Wales
and Wiradjuri Country, F. Malbeck moved to Melbourne, Victoria,
with its treacherous weather, at a young age and has since given into
the dark side that is Melbourne’s seductive gridded CBD layout and
multiple theatres full of musicals, unlikely to ever willingly give
them up.
<br><br>Between working on their PhD, working at their day job, and
writing mostly on the weekend, F. Malbeck likes to believe they are as
organised and efficient with their time as any a true god of productiv-
ity, but in reality they’re usually found ruining their spine, hunched
over their laptop like any other goblin with an internet connection,
with the posture and sitting position of L from Death Note.
Throughout it all, there is always a cup of tea within reach.<br>
