<p>As a child, Kelly wrote many stories and employed the local neighborhood</p><p>kids as writers for her book company. Kelly finds inspiration for her children's</p><p>books from the simple things in life that are often overlooked. She often scratches</p><p>her ideas on post-it notes with worn-down pencils. She also appreciates the power</p><p>of an off-beat short story or poem.</p><p>Kelly lives in Wheaton, Illinois with her two amazing young boys, husband–</p><p>and Shirley–a loving chocolate lab.</p>
