Maria Dashwood fell in love with her first viewing
of the 1995 BBC series. From there, she read the book, and so began a love
affair with Jane Austen’s work. A romantic at heart, Maria’s stories tend
towards the sensual side of love with a liberal helping of humor. Born and back
in Pennsylvania, Maria loves cats, who are very particular writing companions,
Renaissance dance, literature, bread making, and singing off key in the shower.
