<p>Tonya GJ Prince is a Survivor of child sexual violence. Tonya also managed to stop the cycle of sexual violence from reaching her own child with the help and support of her village of family, friends, and fellow advocates & experts.</p>
<p>She is the founder of the blog, WESurviveAbuse.com</p>
<p>Over the past 22 plus years in service, she has served thousands of men, women, and children as an advocate, counselor, and speaker. Tonya has been recognized by women leaders in the community for her work as the founder of the not-for-profit charity Braid the Ladder.<br />

In addition to service, Tonya makes time for family, friends, laughter, music, movies, storytelling, reading, writing, DIY projects, and stage performance; because these things bring her joy and happiness. <br />
<br />
She holds a BS in Organizational Management & Development from Bluefield College.</p>
