<p>I am a Scot who met a girl from Baltimore over forty-six years ago on a windjammer cruise in the British Virgin Islands. We married seven months later. I have been a US citizen for over 40 years. She is the love of my life and best friend.</p><p>I had a varied career in broadcasting and satellite communications in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. </p><p>I love romantic movies. I used to go to the movies when I was a child and be carried away by the magic of the silver screen.</p><p> </p><p>My first novel was a historical romance called "The Empress's Escape" set in the last days of the Napoleonic Wars. I love Napoleonic history.</p><p> </p>
