About the author
J David Wyatt

David Wyatt was born in Wilkes County, NC in 1965. Though raised as a “preacher’s kid,” his path wasn’t always straight. After dropping out of college as a freshman, David embarked on careers in financial planning and music. He worked in the family financial planning business starting in 1985 and has written numerous songs.

Over the last decade, David has run his boutique web design agency, SitesPDQ, and search engine optimization firm, RankPDQ, in Winston-Salem, NC, where he has lived with his wife Lisa since their marriage in 1994. Despite having what may have appeared to outsiders to be a happy life, David describes spending many years as a “prodigal” before rededicating his life to Christ in 2019. Now with his children grown, David strives to live out his faith as a devoted disciple, husband, and father.

It was David’s renewed passion for theology and Scripture that led him to engage chatbots in impromptu dialogues to clarify Biblical truths—conversations that became the basis for his first book, Forgiving Like God: A Conversation with Frank, an AI Persona.

David’s faith journey gives him a unique vantage point for exploring the practical dimensions of forgiveness. While the conversational format is unconventional, David’s aim is simple: to get to the heart of what God’s Word says about this vital topic. You can find David involved with his family, church community, and internet marketing businesses when he’s not writing.

Forgiving Like God is the first book in the Conversations with Frank series.

Other titles in the series will explore:

- Loving like God

- Living like Christ

- Why is there a hell?

- Christian sexuality
