<p>Mellie Miller began writing in high school, but didn't start writing professionally until 2010. </p><p> </p><p>Born in the Midwest, she went to college in Southern California and married a California boy--to whom she's been married for almost 50 years. Since then, the two of them have traveled the world and lived all over the USA. She feels this gives her a broader palette to draw upon for her stories.</p><p> </p><p>Mellie is also a musician, a martial arts instructor, and Reiki master, which also lends a dimension in her writing.</p><p> </p><p>Mellie has published eight books in two series--Gambler's Folly and Esperance.
