Danny Lenihan

<p>Danny Lenihan was born in West London in November 1972. He spent his formative years in Chessington, on the London/Surrey border. A serial dropout, he managed to flunk school (Fleetwood School - now Chessington Community College) in 1989, followed by KCFE (Kingston College of Further Education) in 1990, before completing his dropout hat-trick with NESCOT College (North East Surrey College of Technology) in 1991.</p>&#13; &#13; <p/>&#13; &#13; <p>It was in the two colleges where he fell in love with Photography and went on to be a photographer at London News Service Press Agency in Exmouth Market, Farringdon. Danny freelanced for many of the top agencies and newspaper conglomerates in London, including Reuters, News International, Getty, Alpha and Press Association.</p>&#13; &#13; <p/>&#13; &#13; <p>In 1997 Danny&#8217;s career path took a diverse turn, and by a chance encounter, found himself on stage performing Stand Up Comedy. Danny turned professional in 2001 under the moniker &#8216;Danny James&#8217;, and toured the world, featuring at some of the most famous comedy venues in the UK and USA - The Comedy Store (London &amp; Manchester), Jongleurs (worldwide) and Caroline&#8217;s (New York), and took his own live show to the Edinburgh Festival in 2005, performing nightly at The Holyrood Tavern with his show, Radio Blah Blah.</p>&#13; &#13; <p/>&#13; &#13; <p>Danny retired from comedy in 2010, a year after the birth of his first child, and went on to set up one of the most respected photographic companies in the world today - 3 Legged Thing. He remains the CEO and spends his days designing products and writing, and lives in the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside with his two children, Evie and George.</p>
