<p>Samuel Isban (1905–1995) was born in Gostynin, Poland.His family migrated to Palistine in 1920 and  He emigrated to America in 1937.</p>
<p>A prominent journalist and prolific author in both Yiddish and Hebrew, Isban published numerous novels and short story collections.</p>
