<p>R. Steven Jones is a history professor and author. He has published two non-fiction books: <em>The Right Hand of Command</em>, a Civil War study, in 2000, and <em>Cesare Lombroso: the Father of Criminology Redefined </em>(as co-author) in 2017.</p><p><em>The Book of Jo</em> is his first work of fiction.</p>
