<p abp="161">Iona is a small island called "the cradle of Christianity in Scotland" off its western coast. Iona plays a significant role in the development of Christianity in the British Isles. Wearyall is taken from the name Wearyall Hill, now called Glastonbury Thorn, where Joseph of Arimathea, uncle of Jesus Christ, jammed his staff (walking stick) into the ground and it grew into a tree.</p>
