Jeanne Felfe is a Texan by birth, but has been land-locked in Missouri since 1986. She grew up in hurricane country and often writes as if a storm is at her back. More comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans, Jeanne’s very much a tom-boy. She writes emotional, character-driven stories from the heart, often defying genre-classification, and finds inspiration in songs and everyday life.<br><br> Jeanne gave back to the writing community by serving on the board of Saturday Writers, a 100+ member non-profit writers’ guild, for seven years, and a president from 2019 to 2021.<br><br>When not writing, she takes care of her plants...LOTS of plants. She also hangs out with her sweetie and two fur babies who believe they are tiny humans.<br><br>She likes to say, "If you ever meet a Felfe, we are probably related."
