<p>William E. Noland has worked in the fields of human resources and finance. He enjoys music—playing in three different rock bands—international travel, and reading. His writing combines a lifelong love of speculative fiction with a passion for history, sociology, and psychology. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two cats.</p>
