<p>Alison Owens has lived and worked in inner Sydney for over 30 years and has a deep passion for its history and people.   Currently a senior lecturer at the Australian Catholic University, Dr Alison Owens is renowned as a distinguished academic and author. She currently holds two PhDs and has studied Australian literature extensively. </p>
