Judy Leslie

Judy Leslie studied both Literary Fiction and Popular Fiction at the University of Washington. Her novel, <em>For the Love of Ireland,</em> is a historical fiction based on a true story about a woman journalist and a secret Irish American organization during the 1880s. <br><br>​​​​​​​ Judy is married and has two grown daughters, a granddaughter, and a cockapoo named Rosemary. She splits her time between living in Kirkland, Washington, and a cabin in the mountains of Leavenworth, Washington. Previously, she worked in Human Resources for a variety of businesses and as an entrepreneur. <br>​​​​​​​<br>​​​​​​​Both <em>For the Love of Ireland </em>and her <em>Cook’s Cove</em> series were inspired by her earlier days as owner of an antique shop in Bellingham, Washington.
