<p>Amelia Atwater-Rhodes published their first novel, <em>In the Forests of the Night, </em>when they were in ninth grade. They have since published sixteen young adult novels in the Den of Shadows and related series, as well as <em>Mancer, </em>a queer fantasy trilogy.</p>
