C.M. Loren has been a bookworm and a scribbler for as long as she can remember, and like her bookish <em>Blackwell Manor </em>protagonist, she has enjoyed adventures in more than one country. Ms Loren was first published in her local paper while still in high school, and has since published essays, poetry, and travel articles in addition to working on adult and children’s fiction. Besides words, she likes the sea and indulging her various interests (which have absolutely nothing to do with her law degree or the decade she spent teaching language arts overseas). Ms Loren currently lives in Canada, the willing slave of a small rabbit with a big personality, and puts far more effort into her bunny’s Instagram account than into her own.<br>
