<p>Mae was brought up in England and trained as a nurse and midwife. She is a displaced Yorkshire lass, who relocated to Canada, living and working mainly in the big city before finding her way to the Maritimes. She currently lives on Prince Edward Island, where she enjoys walking, gardening, knitting, reading a variety of books and music.</p>
