<p>Frances Ive has written as a journalist and commercial writer throughout her career. She specialised in health writing and has a website, www.healthysoul.co.uk and wrote several non-fiction books. Finding Jo is her first novel, about a young woman who needs to get away from family and boyfriend, set in the Himalayas, followed by Brown Eyes, a marriage crisis, partially narrated by the family Labrador. Ebony the Cat is a novella narrated by the feline about her life from being abandoned as a kitten through to her rescue home and how it shaped her.</p>
