Since I was a kid, I've loved creating comic parodies of famous stories and movies, songs, TV shows and popular culture overall. My high school buddies and I competed to crack each other up with intricate satire, farce, and takeoffs of anything and everything. We created fake album covers, substituting fellow students for the artists, with sendups of the song titles, lyrics and liner notes. We wrote and recorded audio sketch comedies and created a fake religion complete with evangelical tract books and prayers.

So, I get immense pleasure from writing the Tales from the Quaquaverse novels. Each is an entirely new world with all new characters rendered as comic parodies of famous novel genres — High Fantasy, Pirate Romance, Space Opera, Detective Noir — with many more in the works. The common thread will be fierce and sexy female leads, comedy high and low, and steamy, explicit romance. I call them fantasy sex comedies. My old school pals would love them. Hope you do too.
