About the author

Bobby Simmons

I write from experience, not imagination.I've lived the streets, learned their rules, paid their  prices, and watched what they take from men, families, and time.I understand prison life, the weight of codes, and the choices people make when survival feels louder than hope.I don't write to celebrate violence or crime.I write to tell the truth about it.BeastonBoard is my name because i am relentless in growth.I adapt,I build, and I refuse to let my past define my future. Strength isn't destruction-it's discipline.power isn't fear-it's responsibility. My stories are for the youth coming up behind us.for the ones who need to see where roads really lead before they walk them.for people who want more than survival-they want purpose. If you walk with me through these pages, understand this: This is about choice. This is about consequence. This is about becoming more than what the streets expected of you. And out of everything I've lived through,I believe God put those experiences in my path so I could see, learn, and grow. I'm proud of who I am now-not of who I used to be. I don't glorify the street life.I lost too much to pretend it's something to celebrate. Out there, it only ends two ways: Jail or death.Being an "OG" isn't a trophy. I write to show another way. For my Kids. For anyone who thinks their story is already written. My work is raw because my life was real, but my purpose is different now-to turn pain into pages, mistakes into meaning, and prove that ypur life is worth more than the path you think you're stuck on.
