<p>Lindsey Dawson is a former journalist and magazine editor who has also worked in TV and radio. She has authored nine previous books. Her latest title, <em>Poisoning on Parker Road</em>, was inspired by a murder trial she stumbled over when researching her last novel, <em>Scarlet & Magenta</em>, about Victorian settlers' lives in New Zealand. That story was fiction. This one actually happened.</p>
