<p>Glenn Oleksak grew up in suburban New Jersey. After graduating high school, he wandered the country for several years before he settled down back in New Jersey. Sometimes he hitch-hiked, but mostly he hopped freight trains. Indeed, most of the adventures his character experiences in his novel, Back Now, Glenn has experienced in real life.</p><p>After working in factories and a large senior living complex in New Jersey, Glenn finally settled down to a career on a railroad.</p><p>Glenn is an avid hiker. When he’s not railroading or writing, Glenn is the volunteer Chair of a 150-mile-long trail called The Highlands Trail. Says Glenn: “It’s like another full time job sometimes and it can get pretty taxing, but it’s a labor of love.”</p>
