When she’s not writing, Assine enjoys reading in Arabic, French, and English, as well as traveling, both of which inspire her rich narratives.<br><br>Growing up in Lebanon, Assine experienced firsthand the challenges and inequalities faced by women in a society where their voices are often silenced. Driven by a deep desire to give voice to not only women in the Middle East, but also women around the globe, she embarked on a journey to write novels that highlight their perspectives and struggles.
