Clouds Over Bowland is Rosemary's first novel with Cadence. However, she has previously published 5 novels she describes as 'history, mystery and a bit of romance.' She specialises in finding little-known pockets of history, and her research is meticulous. She grew up in the Forest of Bowland, but now lives in Northampton. A life-long Quaker herself, she can trace her husband's Quaker roots back to before Joseph Sturge, who bought the island of Montserrat so he could free everyone enslaved there.<br>
