<p><strong>ERIKA MURCIA</strong> is an elder, sibling, auntie, poet, writer, traveler, acompañante, and weaver of creative crossroads across the borderlands. Murcia was raised in the mountains of Chalatenango, El Salvador. Murcia's poetry and prose have been featured in <em>MATRILINAJES Poesía en los altares de la diosa</em> (Carpa Lunar, México 2024), <em>Maternidad Creativa: Recuperar el latido original del útero</em> (Carpa Lunar, México 2021), <em>Love & Other Futures: Poetry of Untold Stories of Liberation & Love</em> (Amazon, Michigan 2019). Murcia is a co-creator of <em>Sanadora Práctica Creativa</em>, an indigenous acompañamiento & poetic improvisational praxis. Murcia is based in náhuatl-pipil, Mesoamerican lands, and moves wherever Earth Mother and the Cosmos calls to sing with the energy of each day. </p>
