R. de Wolf

<p>Regina de Wolf-Ngarimu (Ng&#257;ti Porou, Te Wh&#257;nau-&#257;-Apanui, Ngai Tahu, Ng&#257;ti Mutunga) is a M&#257;ori author and poet from the East Coast who loves kaimoana &#8211; penname <strong>R. de Wolf</strong>. She&#8217;s published four novels and two poetry collections since 2020;&#160;<em>Guardians of the Ancestors&#160;</em>with Pegasus Elliot McKenzie, Book One of the six-part Pacific Fiction Adventure&#160;<em>Spirit Voyager Series</em>; Book Two,&#160;<em>The Future Weavers; Book</em>&#160;Three,&#160;<em>Brothers in Whalesong;&#160;</em>&#160;dystopian novel&#160;<em>The Goodness Algorithm;</em>&#160;<em>&#160;Poetry In a Pear Tree</em>&#160;and&#160;<em>Poetry In a Pohutukawa</em>. Three short stories,&#160;<em>Crushed Violet</em>,<em>&#160;Whale Brothers </em><em>and</em><em> The Hollow Mother</em>, were published in the Kaituhi R&#257;whiti anthologies. In 2022 she co-edited and published&#160;<em>Kaituhi R&#257;whiti Two:</em>&#160;<em>Weaving of Words</em>&#160;with the Tair&#257;whiti Writers Hub, featuring over 40 writers connected to te Tair&#257;whiti. Active in the writing community, Regina encourages rangatahi (youth) to kaumatua (seniors) to find their voice, preserve knowledge and publish, whether it&#8217;s commercial or private work.</p>
