<p>Regina de Wolf-Ngarimu (Ngāti Porou, Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngai Tahu, Ngāti Mutunga) is a Māori author and poet from the East Coast who loves kaimoana – penname <strong>R. de Wolf</strong>. She’s published four novels and two poetry collections since 2020; <em>Guardians of the Ancestors </em>with Pegasus Elliot McKenzie, Book One of the six-part Pacific Fiction Adventure <em>Spirit Voyager Series</em>; Book Two, <em>The Future Weavers; Book</em> Three, <em>Brothers in Whalesong; </em> dystopian novel <em>The Goodness Algorithm;</em> <em> Poetry In a Pear Tree</em> and <em>Poetry In a Pohutukawa</em>. Three short stories, <em>Crushed Violet</em>,<em> Whale Brothers </em><em>and</em><em> The Hollow Mother</em>, were published in the Kaituhi Rāwhiti anthologies. In 2022 she co-edited and published <em>Kaituhi Rāwhiti Two:</em> <em>Weaving of Words</em> with the Tairāwhiti Writers Hub, featuring over 40 writers connected to te Tairāwhiti. Active in the writing community, Regina encourages rangatahi (youth) to kaumatua (seniors) to find their voice, preserve knowledge and publish, whether it’s commercial or private work.</p>
