<p>Anne Kemp is the author behind the Abby George Series. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, she prides herself on being a gypsy at heart - A point she has proven over the years calling Virginia Beach, Siesta Key, Florida, St. Kitts and Los Angeles “home.”</p>
<p>After being laid-off in 2008, Anne found herself living on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts and enrolled in a Fiction class via UCLA’s online courses. It was on St. Kitts that she created the world of Abby George and her unique island family…because why not? What else could she do but sip on a tropical drink and soak in the local color?</p>
<p>Anne also formerly penned the column “Anne In Progress,” which appeared in the Frederick News-Post, a newspaper in the DC-Metro area. Not only is she an award-winning blogger, but she’s also the Executive Producer behind “Kelly,” a documentary which premiered at Slamdance in Park City, Utah and also won at Atlanta DocuFest.</p>
<p>Anne currently resides in Wellington, New Zealand with her husband and their dogs, Tama and George Clooney</p>
