<p>Ian Keldoulis is an Australian writer who prefers shade to sunshine and crowded sidewalks to the outback. His favorite sport isn't cricket or rugby but people-watching. So it's just as well, he's been transplanted to New York City for over three decades. </p><p>A stint in publishing lead to stories in the <em>New York Times</em>, <em>Harper’s Bazaar </em>and other media outlets before he was lured into advertising, eventually running his own agency where he created a lot of animated dog commercials. </p><p>Currently, while working on screen and teleplays, he is also writing a non-fiction book on the US foster care system and is the New York correspondent for the Australian publication <em>The Neighbourhood Paper</em>. </p>
