<p>Born and raised in Colombia but a fan of history and the English language, Mrs Therese Vernon decided to write her own version of one of her favourite books ever.  She fell in love with the story and started reading variations for the last two years.  She has read more than one hundred versions and decided to create her own.</p>
<p/>
<p>She worked many years in the corporate world in international business and is now dedicated to consulting and her other hobbies: painting, cooking, and reading.  She has three grown-up children and a loving and patient husband.</p>
