<p>Richard Samuel Sheres is a writer and former foreign affairs and intelligence senior executive. He is the author of the acclaimed novels <em>Keeping Gideon</em> (a San Diego Book Awards finalist) and <em>Ingersoll</em>. Born and raised in New York City, he has visited or resided in over sixty countries. He and his wife currently live in Alexandria, Virginia.</p>
