<p>Cynthia Chatman is a retired art teacher who lives in Brooklyn, N.Y. and writes children's books and screenplays.</p><p>She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition. She is an organizer of the Crown Heights Film Festival and a 3rd place winner in the Scriptapalooza International Screenwriting Contest. She also spent three years performing stand-up and improvisational comedy.</p><p>Cynthia combines her experience as a writer, illustrator, educator, and humorist to tell a story inspired by incredible, yet true events.</p>
