Kassandra Heglund was born in Twin Falls, Idaho. Born with two disabilities (legal blindness and partial paralysis on one side), she let nothing stop her from her dreams. She began writing in high school and did not give up the dream of being a published author. Her first book, an expansion and rewriting of that first story, was first published on September 28, 2011 in print and PDF versions. It was revised and re-published on August 7, 2012 as a Kindle book. Her dream realized, she has not stopped there! She added a full-length novel (Long Dark Night) on August 8, 2012, and has two more books in the works! So look for much more from this independent author in the future!
