<p>John received his Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Kansas. He had completed all the requirements for his Ph.D., save for completing his dissertation, when he took a "temporary" leave of absence to start a business he thought he could do part-time. That was many years ago. He has been an entrepreneur and spent the last 25 years as a business consultant. John is a Stage IV cancer survivor. John took up writing during his recovery.</p>
