<p>David E. Gumpert is a writer who grew up on the South Side of Chicago. He co-authored with his aunt a book about his family's attempts to escape the Holocaust, <em>Inge: A Girl's Journey Through Nazi Europe</em>. He has authored other books on how to start and run a small business and on food politics. Prominent titles include <em>How to Really Create a Successful Business Plan</em> (from Inc. Publishing); <em>The Raw Milk Revolution</em> (Chelsea Green Publishing); and <em>The Raw Milk Answer Book</em> (Lauson Publishing). He has also been a reporter with <em>The Wall Street Journal</em> and an editor of <em>The Harvard Business Review. </em>He lives in Waltham, MA, with his wife, Jean. </p>
