Lisa M. Jordan

<p>Lisa M. Jordan discovered her love for storytelling at a very early age, and the written word has called to her throughout her life. She has pursued various paths, but writing has always remained her true passion.</p><p> </p><p>Her first published work, <em>Jacob's Awakening</em>, was originally featured in the 2013 indie anthology <em>Miraculous: Tales of the Unknown</em>. It was later re-released as a standalone short story in 2018.</p><p> </p><p>Lisa's 2018 works also include <em>When the Pieces Just Don't Fit</em>, a deeply personal narrative about the journey to diagnosis and the early years of raising a child with autism. She also published <em>A Look Inside</em>, a collection of poetry exploring her mental health journey from depression and suicidal thoughts to healing and clarity.</p><p> </p><p>Lisa now lives in North Carolina with her wife and their youngest child. With a background in parenting neurodivergent children, she draws from her personal experiences to create authentic characters and stories that resonate. Lisa is currently working on several projects, including a young adult fantasy novel </p>
