Heather Massey

Heather Massey (she/her) is a geek mom who’s the proud parent of a terrific daughter and married to the love of her life. Though she’s neither an award-winning nor bestselling author (thank you for not judging!), her stories provide quality entertainment by way of fantastical worlds, action-adventure, and larger-than-life characters who fall in love while battling evils such as classist jerks, corporate greed, the patriarchy, and corrupt politicians.<br>&nbsp;<br>From 2008-2016, Heather wrote about sci-fi romance at The Galaxy Express.<em> </em>Her writing has appeared in Reactor, RT Book Reviews, Coffee Time Romance, Heroes &amp; Heartbreakers, Germany’s <em>LoveLetter</em> magazine, Dear Author, and SF Signal. An adoptee, she published her memoir, <em>Weirdo: Tales of a Geek Adoptee</em> and wrote an article for <em>Severance Magazine</em> called “A Tale of Two Adoptees.” In addition to books, she’s a volunteer writer for local grassroots groups.<br>&nbsp;<br> Heather has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and helped disadvantaged youth with family reunification, education, and employment goals in various settings. When not writing, she enjoys movies, books, and comics.<br>
