<p>I’m more than a little crazy. You’d have to be to ride a Harley, jump from airplanes, ride a camel across the desert, or race ostriches in Africa. And yeah, I’ve done all of that and more.</p><p>I believe living a great life adds to writing great stories, and that is my goal: to bring to my readers characters you can’t forget and books you can’t put down. I’m a literature professor, but don’t let that scare you. With a full sleeve tattoo of Storm from the X-Men, it’s easy to see that the title “professor” is slightly off… as am I.</p><p>I’ll be writing here as Linda Kay Silva (the real me), offering primarily thrillers and new adult/chick-lit, but I also write supernatural/paranormal/urban fantasy under the pen name Alex Westmore, and have five different series to my name. A 5-time award-winning author, I continue to see the world in an effort to add texture and layers to my work. I am an animal rescuer, a mother of two grown women, a collector of swords, and a medievalist. I am comfortable in a tux or in shorts and a tank top, which is my typical uniform here in the desert of Palm Springs.</p><p>If you love great characters, you’ll enjoy my work.</p>
