<p>Arlen Grossman retired from teaching special education and started concentrating on freelance writing (he earned a B.A. in Journalism from Cal State Northridge, as well as an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling). His current writing inspiration comes from his enjoyment of children's books like "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "The Wizard of Oz".</p><p>Arlen has been writing a political blog The Big Picture Report since 2010. He has commented on politics often on radio and a YouTube videocast.</p><p>Arlen wrote a quotation quiz "What's Your QQ?" (Quotation Quotient) weekly for nine years (2007-2016) in the Monterey Herald. He hopes to publish a quotation quiz book before the end of 2024. Arlen and his wife, Nancy Allison, split the year living in Monterey, CA and Hubbardton, VT. They have two grown children living in California.</p>
