Allysa grew up on a family-owned dairy farm in West Central Wisconsin. She now owns her own hobby farm in Southern Minnesota with her husband, and their three daughters.. Their animals currently include: dairy goats, rabbits, poultry, cats, dogs, and a turtle.<br><br>Allysa has been interested in becoming an author since she started volunteering at her hometown library, back in 2005 at the age of 15. She has been volunteering/working in libraries since then.<br><br>The Fantasy series that she is currently working on was inspired by her favorite books by Lewis Carroll. <strong>Along Came a Spider</strong>, the first book in her series <em>Wonderland, A History</em>, is now available as an ebook.<br><br>"My series <em>Wonderland, A History</em> is a way for me to create a backstory to all of the curious things that happen to Alice on her trip to Wonderland. An explanation, if you will, as to why Wonderland is so topsy turvy during Alice's visit, but with a more mature perspective."
